A socially awkward high school student hires a popular girl to pretend to be his girlfriend in order to boost his status and reinvent himself before the school year ends. As their fake relationship grows, he undergoes a transformation in confidence and popularity, but both begin to discover that real feelings are developing beneath the arrangement.
